Position Overview:
As a Car Sales Representative, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing process from start to finish. This includes engaging with potential buyers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing detailed information about our vehicle inventory, including features, benefits, and pricing. You will conduct test drives, assist with financing options, and negotiate sales terms to ensure a smooth and satisfactory transaction. Additionally, you’ll manage the paperwork and ensure that all documentation is accurately completed. Building strong relationships with customers is key, as you will follow up to address any concerns and encourage repeat business. Your role also involves staying informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations and achieve your sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers, understanding their needs and preferences to guide them through the vehicle selection process.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, including features, benefits, and pricing, to provide accurate information and recommendations.

  • Sales Process: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through to closing the sale, including negotiating terms, handling paperwork, and facilitating test drives.

  • Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns, building long-term relationships and encouraging repeat business.

  • Market Insight: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to better meet customer needs and enhance sales strategies.

  • Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Basic understanding of automotive technology and vehicle features.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of professionalism and integrity.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
